The Theory of Change© in the diagram below is an emergent perspective rooted by integrated Western and Eastern thought systems to consider human and cosmological interdependence. It has formed from: 

1. Two degrees studying media's impact on social, natural, and civilizational structures;
2. Three decades of extensive strategic culture change and communications practitioner experiences; 
3. Two decades designing college courses at the intersection of planetary and human health as controlled by dominant western ontologies expressed in capitalism (see syllabi); and 
4. The past decade of ongoing independent scholarship focused on deep studies of taiji and eastern philosophy, spiritual ecology, traditional ecological knowledge, as well as regenerative ecological economics with the work of  (but not limited to): Thomas Berry, Kate Raworth, Briane Swimme, Mary Evelyn Tucker, John Fullerton, Tyson Yunkaporta, Báyò Akómoláfé, Joanna Macy, Rob Hall, Satish Kumar, Emergence Magazine, Club of Rome, The Presencing Institute’s Otter Scharmer and Melanie Goodchild, and many others (see more here).
